VeloVampire (381), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 29, 2008 341 ml bottle - pours a verrrry cloudy dull brown with a good-sized off-white head. Aroma honey sweet and softly spiced, along with some faint booziness. Flavour is full of dark fruits and some nutmeg, but overall, kind of....whatever. Good beer though, and one of the best labels ever. Hilarious, when looked at in the concert with the name.
Cloudy amber pour, medium off white head. Slightly malty nops, with a touch of spice maybe. Flavour is pretty basic, some yeast, some malt, nothing special. Radek Kliber (3284), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 4, 2008 On tap at Mondial 2008
Appearance: Murky amber ale with slight tanned top. Nose Some earthy forest foliage like , sticky sweet malt. Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , fairly clean , balanced malty-fruity in character. Solid sweet sided brew.
radiomgb (1730), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada May 31, 2008 Deep amber in colour, lingering good sized off-white coloured head, excellent lacing. The aroma is rather light, some caramel sweetness, light spice. The flavour is lightly sweet, some caramel malts, light spice, creamy with some yeast. Creamy filling mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes a bit thin and watery, some malt and a bit of alcohol.
Basic, average. Nothing seems to jump out at you.
