jjpm74 (3155), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Oct 12, 2008 Bottle courtesy of boutip. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Smells of corn sugar, dry malt. Tastes bitter and dry with a perfumy finish. puzzl (1821), New York, New York, USA Oct 11, 2008 Bottle. This is not even close to being 33rd percentile bad. The aroma has a bit of clove, wheat, alcohol, some vegetals. Flavor has a little bit of diacetyl (actually, a good bit of it), with a fairly assertive Belgian yeast. This is certainly nothing special, but is passable as a Belgian Strong at least. Eructoblaster (1266), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Aug 13, 2008 Bottle - 341ml. Pours a cloudy golden body with a thin white foamy head. Fair, fresh, malty/hoppy aroma with citrusy and yeasty hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Taste is well balanced but lacks the complexity we usually expect from that style of beer. Some coriander notes are detectable. Ends with a decent, dry bitter/sour finish. Drinkable.
