Bouteille de 341 ml. Cette bière de couleur brune foncée avec de subtils reflets rougeâtres nous démontres une mousse blanche moyenne qui nous tient compagnie jusqu’à la fin de la dégustation. Au nez des arômes de chocolat, de grains, de gazon mouillé, de houblons, de café-moka et de vanille viennent compléter l’étape 2. Parlons maintenant de l’étape 3. En bouche la bière a un corps moyen et nous dévoiles ses saveurs de chocolat, de houblons, d’herbes, de café, d’alcool, de vanille et de sucre. Le tout se termine par une amertume moyennement amère avec une légère touche salée.

App.: Dark brown with orange hues, clear(?), fair tan head. Aroma: Lots of cola and rootbeer aromas – malt and minty herbals mostly, rich dark malts – dried fruits, some milk chocolate, some molasses and toffee, a bit of woodiness, some rye bread crust; quite appealing. Palate: Medium-full body, soft-ish effervescence. Flav.: Much like the nose – plenty of big chewy malts, some of the cola-like herbal mint; a bit of alcohol, a bit sweet with a bit of bitterness and some additional alcohol to finish.

(dégusté avec frenh tickler) Biere tres noir avec un collet off white. Arome de chocolat, café, crème brulé, piquottement au niveau des narine. Gout delicieux en bouche, tres crémeuse, léger gout de banane et le tout un peu sucré. une biere tres agréable qui parcontre ressort tres peu de choses en gout.

Drank with Pyrozoid. Pitch black poor with a thin beige bubbly head. Aromas of coffee, alcohol, dark chocolate, burnt toast and creme brule. Sweet, tangy, creamy, tartish mouthfeel. Nice longlasting bitterness. Medium bodied. Roasted malts, bitter chocolate, light roasted coffee twist and a hint of tobacco. Not bad...
