Bouteille de 750 ml, avec bouchon de plastique, achetée chez La Barik (Trois-Rivières, QC). Arôme: Odeur de banane avec une pointe de pommes. Apparence: La couleur est blonde légèrement blanchâtre. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de banane et de citron avec une pointe de pommes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement citronné. (Rating #2218)

Difficult to find in RateBeer - but definitely the beer I sampled, since the bottle is next to me and matches the picture exactly. Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head and a corny, soapy scent. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Assertive coriander seed freshness with bananas, yeast and wheat coming through with a twang of spices near the end. Aftertaste has grapey type flavours and a lot of yeast and sediment, reminiscent of a saison - but the taste is much more mild. Overall, a pretty low strength beer that has some light good qualities, but mostly passes over the palate on for the next beer. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Depanneur Peluso (Bonisoir) in Montreal, Quebec on 09-April-2009, sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 06-September-2009.

Finally found this beer! I remember having something called La Futee, but i wasn’t able to find anything on the site, and coudlnt remember the brewer. From what i remember the carbonation of this beer was WAY over the top. It made the beer almost undrinkable. As for flavor it was a pretty basic golden ale flavor, but a little more crisp. Nothing great really.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy light beige color ale with a medium foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of dominating wheat malt with very little else showing. Taste is also dominated by some strong wheat malt with limited spice showing or any ester really apparent. I am not sure what the champagne yeast really bring more here but the final results is somewhat middle of road. Full body with limited filtration and good carbonation. OK but not something I would seek again.

A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. A light sweetish banana aroma with light sulfur notes. In mouth, a rather sweet and cloying belgian ale with sourish notes. Tasted at Mondiale 2007.

Belle couleur, bien effervescente, bonne mousse, belle dentelle, un doux goût d’agrumes. Bon petit champagne à la blanche!

Shared with Pyrozoid. Murky/Cloudy light brown/golden poor with a tiny off-white head. Aromas of coriander, oranges, wheat and light bananas. Medium body with light effervescence. Nice spicy and mildly sweet with a zesty finish. Flavors are much like the aromas... Very light, balanced brew with a citrus twist. Very enjoyable
