Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 3, 2011
Originally rated December 2006. Purchase at the Dépanneur Rapido in Aylmer, Quebec. Pours a cloudy light beige colour with a small white head that disappears rather quickly. The lacing left is quite wavy. Its nose has a metallic water aroma at first. After breathing a bit, it goes away to show the wheat, banana, yeast and bubblegum scents. Flat mouthfeel, but thick enough in the mouth. There is something about the taste (just like their bitter I just had), that is similar. Starts off real mild and get funkier for the finish. Very light banana bread and wheat. Not offensive, but nothing too special. Still, nice to find a new brewery... and hope that they continue progressing.

Orange-amber in colour, long lasting white coloured creamy head, good lacing. The aroma is predominately of apples, some wheat, some lemon citus. The flavour is lightly yeasty, light spice, creamy, apples and some pear. Creamy mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with some peppery spice, medium length. Lightish, a bit watery but all the while refreshing just a little boring.

341ml bottle from <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/quebec/g target=blank>La Trappe a Fromage in Gatineau, Quebec for $1.99.
Purchased on July 6, 2007 and opened on November 4, 2007.

Eructoblaster (2121) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 20, 2008
Bottle -341ml. Golden hazy body with low carbonation and a fair white foamy head. Good malty aroma with bready hints. Its malty/hoppy taste carries some yeasty notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Good effort.

Bouteille.

Boutip (3451) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 5, 2007
Bottle: Poured a deep hazy whitish yellow color weizen with a very small head with limited retention. Aroma of banana bread is quite enticing but there is also a cardboard element which is really gross. Taste of weak wheat malt with some nice enough banana bread component is unfortunately dominated by gross cardboard beer. Body is above average with some very low carbonation. This beer is without doubt oxidised which is surprising since I was told that this was a recent batch. I might need to re-rate in the future.

Hazy yellow pour with a medium creamy white head. Decent aroma and flavor of bananas, cloves and bubble-gum. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Not bad.
