341ml bottle, poured in a Delirium Tremens glass, cloudy yellow gold hue, with a white head, but falls quickly, yeasty, fruity nose of citrus fruits as grapefruit and lemon, with a faint mild candied pineapple accent, with some flowery hop citrusy, with a subtle vanilla spiciness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, bready dough character, with a honeyed pale malt, with a nice citrus floral hop accent, with some lemon, grapefruit fruity notes, with a mild warmth mouthfeel, leading towards a fruity, citrusy, dry hoppy finish. It seems to have any problem of carbonation in the 341ml bottle. Still to see!

Simple but efficient beer. Maybe too simple for a belgian style ale. Its string alcohol taste makes it a good beer to be drink after a long day in the snow.

Brown bottle, 341 ml, purchased at Le Grand Duc on December 27 2009, savoured on July 13 2010; eye: golden with a whitish hue, hazy, good effervescence, white head that turns into a thin sheet, average lacing; nose: yeast, spices including coriander, light malt, light sugar, orange, bread; mouth: yeast, spices including coriander, light malt, light sugar, orange, finale in alcohol with a surprising citrusy appearance, medium-light body, rather carbonated, lightly sweet; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, achetée chez Le Grand Duc le 27 décembre 2009, savourée le 13 juillet 2010; œil : dorée avec une teinte blanchâtre, voilée, bonne effervescence, mousse blanche qui se transforme en une mince couverture, dentelle moyenne; nez : levure, épices dont coriandre, léger malt, léger sucre, orange, pain; bouche : levure, épices dont coriandre, léger malt, léger sucre, orange, finale en alcool avec un goût citrique qui fait une apparition surprise, corps moyen-léger, plutôt carbonatée, légèrement sucrée; en résumé : correct

Bottle, thanks to Cole for the share. Pours hazy gold, with a straw/green hue. Head is quite thin and does not persist, virtually no lacing. Nose is delicate, fresh, and fruity, notes of stonefruit, candy, apple, bananas. Flavors are yeasty, with spun candy, apricot, earth, and bit boozy towards the finish though. Well-made, though the booziness throws it somewhat off-balance.

Pours Cloudy yellow with almost no head. Mild aroma slight banana aroma. Flavour is very strong. KInd of fruity, a little bit of a yeast flavour. It has a strong alcohol flavour that detracts from the beer. It is a little spice and has a very dry finish. Not bad ,

A bit of alcohol and and spice in the nose, not strong, only present. Nice and hazy yellowish, not much on head or lacing. Smooth and even tasting, a bit of malt twist at the end of the flavour. A bit yeasty. Farily bubbly and prickly on the tounge. Nice, but a bit thinner than the "usual’ Belgian Strong. A bit strongish.

Le nom du produit semble vouloir immiter les Duvel, Lucifer, Delirium et autres belgian golden ales mais la complexité n’est absolument pas au rendez vous. Très décevant. J’ai l’impression que cette bière est fini avec une vulgaire levure à champagne. Aucun caractère. Un autre mauvais produit d’une brasserie qui se doit d’arreter d’essayer de couvrir tout les styles de bières imaginables..

weird sour yeasty nose, with some semi tart fruit, and a strong alcohl finish. The flavor is a mix of sweet, and sour, with lots of odd yeasty esters. this is an odd beer that does not hide the alcohol very well.

Acheté au Marché des saveurs Jean-Talon à Montréal. En bouteille. 9%. En général, bon rapport qualité-prix. Acidité et amertume moyenne. Arôme de cigare et abricot. Effervescence élevé. Bière de couleur doré-orangé. Densité faible à moyenne. Mousse légère. Saveur d’agrume et épices.

2,29$ for a 341ml bottle; pretty cheap for a 9% ABV craft beer. Decent but far from overwhelming product. Alchoolic and spicy aroma, with floral and sweetness notes. Obvious complexity of tastes, with a tongue-tingling dry bitterness, spices, citrus, notes of sweetness. Strong taste of alchool and dry aftertaste, not all that pleasing to me. Honest but this is not something I’d drink often because of dominant alchool and spicy taste.

Dégusté avec Viak en format de 341ml dans un verre d’affligem. Apparence mangue ambré avec peu de mousse et une faible carbonation. Arômes de miel et levure. Goût de miel, mangue, coriande, poivre et feuille de laurier. Agréable et crémeux, j’aime bien!
