Deep black pour with a tight tan head. The aroma has a decent aroma of licorice. Savoury black malt and some heavy roastiness as well. The aroma has a touch of sourness from the roasted malt. A little bit of black pepper and earthy herbal character. Quite solventy with notes of acetone and butanol. No sweetness or cocoa character at all - very dry and kind of acrid. Can’t say I’m a fan of this one either.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur brune-noire et opaque. Nez de malt rôti, moyen de chocolat noir, léger de café avec des traces de chocolat au lait, de vanille et de fruits (cerises noires). Moyenne-mine en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes aqueuses. Léger goût épicé piquant (poivre, faibles traces de piments broyés) accompagné de notes fruitées (cerises) et de quelques traces de chocolat au lait lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de malt rôti (notes brûlées) avec un moyen goût de chocolat noir puis en finale l’on retrouve une moyenne amertume de houblon herbeux avec un très léger goût de café. Post-goût moyen-long et plutôt sec, moyennement amer de rôti, léger de chocolat noir et de houblon herbeux avec des notes de café.

(Bottle from Rahman) The look: Dark brown. Small head. The nose: Faint roasted notes. Wild cherry cough syrup. Band-aid. Cheap Italian vermouth. The taste: Unpleasant. Some sweetness. Some sourness. The mouthfeel: Not so bad. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Creamy to watery texture. The finale: Strange bitterness. Chemical waste. The appreciation: Bože môj.............

Bouteille de 341ml. Bière brune avec un peu de mousse beige. Le nez est de caramel, de chocolat. La bouche est de chocolat fondu, l’amertume est moyenne légère mais quelque peu désagréable. Un produit unidimensionnel sans grande distinction. 5/10

Maitre Brasseur Imperial stout per my notes at Mondial, i believe i’m putting this in the right place. Pours a bruin body with and off white head and good lacing big fluffy foamy head. Dry roasted body with hints of coco. Bitter and roast y up front with a faint cherry bitterness. Flavor feels astringent quickly with a hints of lead, oxidation and caramel. Not so great.
