Nice pilsner. Respects the czech genre. Bitter and sweet hoppiness. Light bodied and really refreshing.

On tap at the brewpub. Golden yellow color with a thick white head. Pleasant soft spice , hops and citrus aroma, taste is refreshing and fruity (agrumes). Of course a little watery and not too complex, but a good pils overall.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUL 3, 2007
Sampled draught at the Mondial, Montreal (May 2007). Clear bright gold with just a whisper of white lasting creamy head....grainy-sweet, malty aroma, perhaps a touch skunky/catty at first, light somewhat stale hop touches....not enough malt in the body for sure, thin and rather watery, decent grassy hop traits especially towards the quite sharp, bitter finish....just a bit cardboardy and dull overall.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 rederic (2326) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 7, 2007
Sampled at the mondial, golden yellow color, with frothy white head, fruity pale malt nose, with a nice flowery citrus hop accent, with a fresh cut hay, with a hint of grapefruit fruitiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice citrusy floral hop character, some sweet pale malts, with a yeast bubblegum, remendering me of Konig pilsener the german beer, with some fresh cut straws and hop grassiness accents, leading towards a fruity citrusy hop bittering finish. A very good beer, thanks again Pascal.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Glouglouburp (4772) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 3, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2008 Almost clear blonde body with a very small white head. Well put-together typical classic german pilsner. medium malt density with some honey flavour, dry herbal hops, lots of small bubbles. Overall it offers a medium crispness and an excellent honey/hops balance. Nice beer. Exactly what you expect from a classic german pils. As truthful to the style as a unshaved Unix system admin wearing shorts, brown socks white sneakers.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (6340) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 2, 2007
My Bottom Line:
Spicy, citrusy hops frolicking in a humid haystack; this is my idea of a summer beer.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam decorates the pale gold.
-The finish is hop spicy as well, providing a fair share of bitterness.
-A little sulphur roams nearby.
-The pale maltiness could have been crisper.
-This is a well-brewed, clean, drinkable and flavorful Pilsener; nothing more, nothing less.
On tap at the Mondial de la Bière.

Robe blonde très claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche en dentelle qui s’estompe. Arômes de houblon épicé. Saveurs de houblon épicé et de malt.
