Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a large lightly tan head. Somewhat sweet, plums, cherries, chocolate and roast over an underlying Styrofoam quality. Medium bodied, roast, lightly nutty, seems like it’s falling apart a little though. Finishes with some light roast and a bit of lingering plastic and cardboard..

Standard easy to drink porter, decent but nothing special. Bit of a mix between a chocolate and medicine malt taste. Doesn’t seem to be very strongly hopped.

Peu impressionnante. Lack of body and light malt rotiness presence. Not very impressive.

Bottle - 341ml. Opaque black body with a fair beige bubbly head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate and roasted cereals hints. Taste is sharp and well balanced. It leaves a lasting roasty/bitter aftertaste. Without being a great Porter, this is still an enjoyable beer.

Bottle labeled "L’Obscure" from some depanneur. Dark brown/black with moderate head. Initially a yeasty aroma that diminishes proportionately to the dimishing head. Thereafter, more subtle yeast with with coffee and some dark fruit on the nose. Sweet and yeasty with feremeted fruit and coffee/roastedness. Odd sourish powedery aftertaste.

Objectively speaking: 341mL from Peluso. Bready, fruity porter with a pleasant yeastiness.
I like: Not focusing on roast, but on its cerealic nature. Vanilla, chocolate and various dark fruits show up in a sweet, but easily drinkable medley. Soft bodied, gentle, light carbonation.
I dislike: I’m pleasantly surprised. Not complex, but original and clean.
