Feb 2, 2008 Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour with mediumsized brown head. Aroma is some yeast, fruits, caramel with an underlying tone of cowpoop... Flavour is a lot of malts and some mild fruits & caramel. Also some freshly cut wet wood and nuts. Very dry palate. Aftertaste is quite wooden and mildly herbal.

Oct 21, 2007 Bottle at Grain D’Orge. Flavor: light caramel candy, with a nice clean finish. A slight (very slight) tart note? Aroma is malty, some fruit. Pretty good.

Oct 13, 2007 0.33 l bottle. Brown-amber color with a thick creamy head, quite a gusher. Heavy spicy, yeasty and meaty aroma with notes of caramel, cola, vanilla and celery. The taste is dominated by nutty maltiness and heavy woody spiciness, notes of licorice and clove. Woody-spicy finish.
