from Au Grain d’Orge, Neuchâtel - fully cloudy dark brown beer under a long lasting creamy beige foam; aroma of apples, candied caramnel and other sweeteners; malty and light spicy; very sweet chewy and perfumy; almost soapy ; notes of banana and spices in the finish - pretty weird

Een donker bier dat redelijk normaal ruikt maar een heel vreemde (na)smaak heeft. Mijn ding niet

33cl bottle from Delhaize. Reddish brown with a medium off-white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet with herbal bitterness. Flower, herbs, caramel, brown sugar and spices. A nice well flavoured dubbel.

Hazy reddish color, creamy head. Nose is liquorice and overriped bananas, peach, plums. Body is light, carbon high and texture thin. Taste is sweet. Palate is dominated by liquorice tones and some chemical additives. B@H

Bottle, bought @ Delices et Caprices, Brussels. Pours deep red with a large, frothy, beige head. Aroma has caramel, red berries, pepper. Medium to high carbonation, fairly light and mild dry mouthfeel. Flavour has berries, raisins, pepper, apple and quite a bit of salty liquorice. Weird but not bad.

Acajou trouble, effervescence moyenne faible, col beige moyen. Malts caramel toastés, réglisse/anis trop présents et désagréables, un peu trop de sucre, trop aqueuse. Bref, trop de choses qui ne vont pas!

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 04/2015. Small GUSHER. Hazy brown light fox brown, beige head quickly vanishing. Smell is thick liquorish, iron, very thick spices, very sweet overripe dark fruits, caramel & even more slightly metallic liquorish. Tube weird mineral metallic liquorish, huge herbs, very high carb. bread overripe, dark fruits, very cheap box wine, spoiled grapes, explodes in the mouth, weird, too much, hard to describe.

Little cloudy dark brown to purple beer, small aery beige head, little stable, non adhesive. aroma: raisins, banana, caramel, sweet, sugary, overripe fruit, plums. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet and sugary, caramel, overripe fruits, weird bitterness, cola bottle candy. Aftertaste: quite some liquorish, sugary, overripe banana, spicy ending, little hoppy. Meh.

Trübes dunkelbraun mit verhaltenem Schaum. Ziemlich brotiges Aroma dunkler Malze, der Geschmack ist entsprechend. Insgesamt eindimensional und langweilig, dazu überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack.
