COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our lightest brew is a bright-golden colored lager that enjoys a crisp, delicate balance of malt and German "noble" hops. This refreshing lager is fermented at cooler temperatures, for much longer periods with the Alehouse’s authentic "lager" yeast, giving it a smooth, clean taste. A perfect "cross-over" beer for the new craft beer drinker.

It arrived in a tall pilsner type glass. About a half finger of head on a golden, clear colored body with hardly a bubble rising up. The aroma is only a faint grain smell. The taste has a lager maltiness, quick bitterness in the middle with a short finish. It has lower carbonation and medium body. The bitterness is distinctive. A pretty good lager.

A very nice, easy to quaff lager and started the tasting out on a nice note. Nothing over the top, just a clean, crisp, easy drinking lager. Light grassy notes, a bit of bread/yeast in the aroma. Light sweetness, and some herby bitterness, but just really clean.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head and almost no aroma. It’s a run of the mill lager with a thin caramel malt flavor and a bit of carbonation.

On tap @ Auburn Alehouse: Clear gold with a white head. Dried grass, cigar tobacco and Tetnang hops. Crisp with a mild bitter bite. I’m not a big Lager fan, but this was quite good! Auburn Alehouse is a great place to visit, delicious food and a knowledgeable, friendly staff!
