“She Barks but doesn’t bite.” Black Lassie changes the perception of dark beer. Deep mahogany in color this dark jewel uses our authentic lager yeast strain to develop smooth roast chocolate flavors that are toned down a bit by special aroma hops that impart a spicy backdrop.

It arrived in a tall lager style glass. A finger of head on a black body. The smell has some roasted malt, though faint. The taste is interesting with a peppercorn flavor, roasted malt and mild bitterness. A good profile. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation and medium body. A flavorful black lager.

Draft. Almost black beer with a dark cream colored head. Light malt and light caramel aroma. Light caramel and light nutty flavor with light mineral notes and light chocolate. Medium-light bodied. refreshing. Chocolate and caramel lingers with light mineral tones. Easy to drink.
