COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Multifaceted and complex this Brewers’ Private Reserve has been cool-aged in Zinfandel barrels acquired from our friends at Mt. Vernon Winery. With over 6 months of aging this “wine-strength” ale has been greatly enhanced by its long slumbering contact with the zinfandel soaked barrels. A bouquet of soft oak, plumb and raisin give way to a peppery zin profile which balances nicely with the sweet malt and gentle hop finish. If you can find the will power, cellar this unique Ale as it will continue to mature and reward.

Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and caramel, leading toa dry finish.
