COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Pale that packs a punch! Foolish amounts of pale malted barley and a ton of fresh Pacific Northwest hops put this crowd favorite somewhere between a strong ale and a double IPA. Don’t let the golden color fool you; this nugget weighs in at 7.8% ABV!!

Poured from a growler filled the same day. Thin head on a clear medium straw colored body. The aroma is honey with a lemon drop. Nice. The taste is moderate lemon bitterness, good balance thoughout. The texture is crisp with soft edges. Moderate carbonation. An enjoyable beer.

Fairly clear light gold in appearance. Nose is slightly piney with an almost grape-like aroma as well. Taste is sweet with an orange citrus flavor. Slightly peppery from the alcohol.

Drank from bottle. A: biscuit, copper, floral and citrus hop note. A: golden straw color, very bright, lose white head with good retention. Very little lacing. T: citrus rind, bready, slight fruit cake, slight pineapple, slight copper, honey and alcohol on the tail end. P: slightly viscous, moderate carbonation, with a dry bitterness that covers up the alcohol. Slightly warming. O: good. Alcohol is well hidden by an emence bitterness. Not much going on but that though

This beer has a golden color with a slightly reddish undertone. It pours with an incredibly thick white full bodied head. It has a citrusy aroma with hints of pine. It starts of with a good bite has a slightly sweet taste then finishes with that classic IPA aftertaste. Overall a very well done complex beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at the brewhouse. Very earthy aroma with a great yeasty funk - seems like a Belgian yeast. Solid full bitter finish, but the hops are barely noticeable.

Pours a cloudy golden amber with a small white head that has decent retention and leaves a large amount of lacing in the glass. The aroma is pine, grapefruit, sugar cookie, and caramel. The taste is sweet with sugar cookie, pine, grapefruit, and caramel. The finish is quite bitter with a lingering pine taste. Medium-full body. Low carbonation. A bit too sweet, and a bit too thick.

First thought, nice color gold/bronze but slightly hazy. Smells very sweet. First taste very sweet indeed at 7.8% maybe it has chill haze. That would explain the sweetness...not fermenting out all the way. It had a medium body. The bottle says "the pale ale that packs a punch" they got what they were lookin for. Overall not my glass o beer but good on them for achieving their goal. A bit to sweet for my taste but good on A.Alehouse
