COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Pale that packs a punch! Foolish amounts of pale malted barley and a ton of fresh Pacific Northwest hops put this crowd favorite somewhere between a strong ale and a double IPA. Donít let the golden color fool you; this nugget weighs in at 7.8% ABV!!

Poured from a growler filled the same day. Thin head on a clear medium straw colored body. The aroma is honey with a lemon drop. Nice. The taste is moderate lemon bitterness, good balance thoughout. The texture is crisp with soft edges. Moderate carbonation. An enjoyable beer.

Had this on tap at a local pub. Good alternative for an IPA lover. Plenty of flavor, malty flavor with hops in the back. Light color, nice lacing, slightly sour aroma. Liked the beer. - Snowboards and IPA

Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Almost half of my Perfect Pint glass is foam. It leaves a thick layer of lace as it falls. The beer is honey golden and almost clear. I smell mostly soft malts with just a little fruit and some grass. First sip is big and brings an attitude. Big hops with grass, floral, and pine. The hops allow some subtleties to come through. Soft malts that are almost saison. Grass and lemon notes. Later more fruit emerges and it is citrus and tropical. The hops become background bitterness and the beer much smoother. The flavor meanders through the flavor spectrum and I love that. This was fun and tasty.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured a gold with a big foam white head and excellent lacing. Medium body with a resinous mouth feel. Flavor is orange peel, lemon, and smooth caramel malts. The finish is orange zest bitter. This beer starts on big on hops, and the malts come on strong as it warms bringing it into excellent balance. Flavorful and quite drinkable.

"pretty good overall, but lacking the punch to contend with the better strong ales out there. itís smooth, and lulls you into believing itís not as strong as it is, but itís a little on the boring side, although it does have both a malt & hop presence. interesting brew."

Nice aroma of yeast, biscuits. Nice ale for a hot summer day. Nothing really impressive about this beer, just your a little above average pale ale . Would not go out of the way for this one.

Fairly clear light gold in appearance. Nose is slightly piney with an almost grape-like aroma as well. Taste is sweet with an orange citrus flavor. Slightly peppery from the alcohol.

Drank from bottle. A: biscuit, copper, floral and citrus hop note. A: golden straw color, very bright, lose white head with good retention. Very little lacing. T: citrus rind, bready, slight fruit cake, slight pineapple, slight copper, honey and alcohol on the tail end. P: slightly viscous, moderate carbonation, with a dry bitterness that covers up the alcohol. Slightly warming. O: good. Alcohol is well hidden by an emence bitterness. Not much going on but that though
