2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap @ Auburn Alehouse. Clear golden pour with a white head. Kind of citrusy and a little bit on the lemony/tangy side. Maybe a bit skunky? Pretty grassy as well. The flavor is a touch bitter, but I guess that’s appropriate. A lot of grass, lemon peel, and straw. Too much apple peel for me, though.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On at @ AA
This is the way a pilsner should taste. Clean, crisp malt flavor mingling with peppery, grassy hops with just a twinge of sourdough-like tartness in there. My mouth is watering for another one. Great brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"actually pretty good for a pilsner, but pales (no pun intended) compared to Auburn’s BIG ales. Pleasing aroma, crisp and refreshing, but nothing that stands out."

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the brewpub. Very clear, very light yellow. Light grassy hops in the nose. Medium bitterness with a light rassy hop and hay flavor. Not too bad I guess. Would like more hops in the flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewhouse. Decent representation of the style, bit more forward in the hop department, which is nice.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Light aroma of something. Med minus body. Flavor is enough grassy/spicy hop to hide most of the breadinesss. Bitter is decent and grows into the finish. Better than many "pils".

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear, light gold color with a white head. The aroma is nice with worty grains and drier lager yeast. The flavor has earthy, bitter hops and a dense maltiness. Well balanced with strong bitterness in the finish. I liked this one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear straw yellow appearance. Lingering hop taste. It is a big pils. After reading the intentions of the brewer it fits their goal but having had other beers from Auburn mostly their Strong, IPA, and 2xIPA it caught me off guard. Their Ipas are so floral having such a i bitter hop in their pils was unexpected.
