COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here’s a nugget that James Marshall missed! Pale and crystal malts provide the backbone and golden hue, while Magnum, Simcoe and Chinook hops do the dancing on your tongue. Late hop additions to the kettle and aging on the "dry hop" give our India Pale Ale hop aroma and flavor worth digging for!

22 oz bottle. Pours yellow, small head. Great version of a NW IPA. Citrus bomb and you can taste the fresh squeezed hops. Nice bitterness on the tongue. Very easy to drink and balanced well.

On Cask at Hopyard. This stuff is AMAZING in casks! Sweet, warm and hoppy! It tasted almost as if it was wet hopped in the cask! On tap instead of cask, it is not as good. But it is still a bright IPA.

Off the tap with one finger of head on a straw colored body. The aroma is all pine. Simple but nice. The taste is moderate bitter from pine and lemon. Straight forward but good. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Overall a solid IPA, though not amazing.

Lighter in color than I’d like. Taste good and lingers a bit which is always pleasing to me. Not bad overall.

On tap at capitol beer. Color is copper with white head. Aroma is fruity. Lots of grapefruit and orange. Lots of pine and good malt balance.

Draught @ City Beer, San Francisco. Rated on 14.10.2012.
Pours a copper orange colour with a lacy white head. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops with weak floral notes. Flavour of biscuity malts, very bitter floral and grassy hops and nettles. Medium bodied, rough mouthfeel and a straightforward high bitter finish. Good.

Draft at Auburn Alehouse. Clearish amber with a thick white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, butterscotch and sweet caramel. Flavor is a bit on the sweet caramel side but with rough hop bitterness, alcohol is well hidden. Medium body with average carbonation. Not bad but the butterscotch is distracting.

On draught at the brewhouse. Pours a clear copper-orange with a nice sold white head. Herbal and floral aroma and flavor with clean bittering.
