Hereís a nugget that James Marshall missed! Pale and crystal malts provide the backbone and golden hue, while Magnum, Simcoe and Chinook hops do the dancing on your tongue. Late hop additions to the kettle and aging on the "dry hop" give our India Pale Ale hop aroma and flavor worth digging for!

"close to a double, if it isnít indeed one. This is among their best beers...it was the second best (best in my opinion) beer at the Music In the Mountains brewfest 8/08. Wonderful hop aroma and a body and strength that tends to lean towards an imperial. had it at the pub a couple times too, and itís never disappointed. 11/09-strangely enough, this big IPA didnít fare well cask conditioned. a little boring, especially compared to the awesome Rubicon Hop Sauce (cask). Iíd like to compare the regular versions of each beer..."

Dark straw, white foam. The aroma is grapefruit with a pine back and spice. Medium body, lacing thick on the sides. Bitter. A solid IPA.

Slight orange hue. Pine & citrus with a bit of floral. Well balanced hop to malt profile. Crisp finish. Nice summer IPA being just an ave ABV.

Draft at the brewpub. Moderate citrus and pine in the nose, with some lemon. Fairly clear, light yellow color. Moderate hop flavor, mostly pine, with a drying finish. Good but not obnoxious. Low by California IPA standards, hehe.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 Citrus-piney nose. Very hoppy. Pours an attractive gold color. Bitter with a touch of malt. Satisfying bitter finish. Perhaps a little too bitter for my taste, and didnít have any noble-hop depth of flavor. No harshness in the bitterness, though and a pleasing brew.

22 oz bottle. Pours yellow, small head. Great version of a NW IPA. Citrus bomb and you can taste the fresh squeezed hops. Nice bitterness on the tongue. Very easy to drink and balanced well.

On Cask at Hopyard. This stuff is AMAZING in casks! Sweet, warm and hoppy! It tasted almost as if it was wet hopped in the cask! On tap instead of cask, it is not as good. But it is still a bright IPA.

Off the tap with one finger of head on a straw colored body. The aroma is all pine. Simple but nice. The taste is moderate bitter from pine and lemon. Straight forward but good. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Overall a solid IPA, though not amazing.

Lighter in color than Iíd like. Taste good and lingers a bit which is always pleasing to me. Not bad overall.
