COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here’s a nugget that James Marshall missed! Pale and crystal malts provide the backbone and golden hue, while Magnum, Simcoe and Chinook hops do the dancing on your tongue. Late hop additions to the kettle and aging on the "dry hop" give our India Pale Ale hop aroma and flavor worth digging for!

Sampled at the Bistro IPA fest. Just getting to my notes now. This one was a nice combo of citrus and tropical fruit. It had a pretty brutal finish though. The hop bitterness had hints of burnt plastic, not overpowering, but enough to notice. Otherwise, not bad.

The aroma and color and clarity are amazing. Nice hoppy scent and a beautiful light amber color. A nice hoppy and a bitter taste coats the tounge and a light body as well. A very good IPA. At first there seems to be a little sweetness but it is quickly overcome by the awesome hops. The aftertaste is a great taste of hops. And more hops...amazing. Worth a buy and rebuy

On tap at the brewery. I don’t understand how this beer is a 91 overall. One of the best ipas I’ve ever had. You can smell the hops while the waitress is still carrying it to your table! Has a great floral pine aroma and packed a floral bitter balanced flavor.

Poured from the bottle into a shaker. Nice color, slightly cloudy and great lacing. Aroma is earthy, pine. Flavour is more of a spicey hop, maybe nugget hops. The bitterness is nice. This tastes exactly like the IPA I brewed last year with nugget hops. I think it was good, maybe better with Amarillo and simcoe though.

Draught from Sac brewers showcase. Very nice. Hoppy with malt back. Real balanced APA- what you’d expect from an West Coast American IPA. Well hopped, palate held hops and maltiness rounded out the IPA. Good stuff.

Attractive light copper pour with a two finger frothy cream colored head. Nice citrus and pine in the nose and flavor balanced by caramel. Dry finish.

With a sampler, at the brew pub. Nice golden color, clear, with medium off white head. Lots of citrus and pine with the nose, and a clean taste whcih was on the bitter side for me. Overall a nice IPA.

On tap at the brewery. Amber color. Aroma is very hoppy with floral and resinous hop notes. Flavor is very hop forward with nice bittering throughout. Overall a very good IPA.

22 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Food Co-Op. This has a really nice, hoppy aroma. Plenty of citrus notes with some mango and orange. Some grapefruit is also there along with some pine. Lightly sweet. Pleasant. Transparent dark golden body with a small head that is difficult to obtain. Starts with a good deal of herbal, bitter, and fruity hop flavors. The middle has a little bit of astringency present with some tannins. FInishes long, dry, and bitter. Slight woody character. Pretty good stuff, but a little too dry for me. The astringency in the middle also detracts somewhat.
