This struck me as more of an ASA than amber. Floral and citrusy nose. Toasted malts, caramel and toffee, earth and grapefruit rinds. Hazy amber with a thin head Bitter up front with citrus and floral hops mostly. Caramel and toffee, lightly sweet notes and more dry bitterness. Balanced towards the hoppy side with nice dry resins in the finish.

On tap at Rubicon, Sacramento. Pours reddish brown with a thin beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a raspy red malt flavor with a fruity bitter finish.

Draft. Nitro. Rich amber beer with a dark cream nitro head. Grapefruit and caramel aroma. Caramel and malt flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Caramel and malt lingers with grapefruit.
