Full-bodied with roasted, coffee undertones, our stout is mashed with over 100 pounds of oats to give it a smooth, creamy profile. Nitrogenation is employed to produce a thick, creamy head and to enhance drinkability. Its name is a tribute to the former bar and restaurant that formerly occupied ours!

On draught at the brewhouse. Massive coffee aroma is beautiful. Aroma also has roasted barley and slight chocolate. Black with a tan head. Smooth chocolate and coffee flavor with the roast more restrained in the flavor. Viscous mouthfeel.

Tap: black pour with medium sized creamy tan head. Aroma is of roasted grain and coffee. Flavor is lightly bitter roasted grain, a little coffee and a floral jasmine-like note with a dose of creamy oatmeal sweetness. Interesting flavors, mellow palate throughout.

On tap at the brewery. Color is dark brown/black. Aroma is dark roasted malts with some chocolate notes as well. Flavor is the same, dark roasted malts, light chocolate flavors, and some coffee flavor as well. Palate is smooth and creamy as to be expected with the oatmeal and nitrogen. Overall a nice stout.

A - Pours a dark black with a big thick covering of creamy brownish head. The head hangs around for quite a while leaving behind some nice lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of deep roasted chocolate malts and a bit of sweetness and oats mixed in as well. T - Starts off with some light roasted chocolate malt and a bit of sweetness and oat flavor. Through the middle a bit more sweet milk and oats come through. The finish is a mix of roasted and sweet chocolates that linger. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The beer feels smooth and very creamy. The beer has an very nice texture from the oats and nitro serving. D - Very drinkable and smooth and creamy. Nice roasted flavors and sort of light but not empty at all.

Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown with a small tan head. Smooth coffee and oat aroma. The flavor is smooth and has a robust oat mouthfeel that balances a nice mellow dark roast coffee bitterness. Lightly sweet and robust for a regular strength stout. Very tasty.

Standard stout aroma. Chocolate, coffee, and some molasses. Flavor profile was nice with enough roasted malts, coffee-like bitterness and sweet chocolate to keep things interesting. Lingering bitterness.
