Great appearance, cloudy pale body and a very storng frithy white head. The aroma is that of rhubarb but quite light with a bitter edge, the flavour is again quite light with a fruity feel. Overall a good quality beer.

Bottle@Home. Sweet and spicy aroma with hints of banana and lime. Hazy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, light fruity, hint of rhubarbre, light bitter, average body. High drinkablility.

75 cl swingtop bottle Blonde a la Rhubarbe. Light golden in colour, hazy, the initial big white head quickly reduced. Wet cardboard dominates the nose, some sweet fruitiness also appears. Sweet sirupy flavours with some butter. Sickening. The rhubarb is hard to detect. A big bottle that I simply did not manage to finish.

75cl bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a small head. Aromas are sweet syrupy rhubard with margarine/vegetable fat. Hints of spices with some sourness. Flavours are rhubarb and vegetable fats with caramel malts, vanilla and spices. Some citrus comes through when warmed up. Quite dry and fatty on the finish. An interesting beer.

Big 750ml swing top bottle. BBE Sep 04. Opens with an explosive pop, but beer stays steady in the bottle. Hazy pale yellow with mouse head. Aroma is initially co2 and rhubarb. Moussey, sharp, prickly mouthfeel. Metallic taste, especially in the finish, is dominant. When the co2 has burned off what’s left is a soft, laid back, gently fruity beer of little character.

Bottled. Hazy golden, rich lively head. Fruity and sweet with dense, clean mouthfeel. The rhubarb flavour is there, but it’s well hidden. Balanced, but too restrained to be really interesting.

yellow-gold colour, slight white head, not very stable. Flowery, slightly sourish nose. The suggestion is rhubarb, but that might be the label hinting. Taste is at first very neutral, then a real vegetable flavour emerges. However, this does not remind me of rhubarb at all. Slightly gingerish, or galanga root, rather - or an aroma of water-paint. Good carbonation, not too much, neither too little. A slight acidity rounds off quite nicely. Very restrained beer. I would have preferred the rhubarb more outspoken, but i can live with it.
