Draught at Old Bank. Hazy basic golden, white head leaving tight lacing. Nice strongly wheaty nose with solid banana, smooth yeast, spiciness and hint of vanilla. Flavor is wheat and mild vanilla ice-cream notes, but there’s enough esters to avoid being dull. Slight citric sourish tinge all over, which suits in nicely. Spritzy, a tad thin palate. Great Weihenstephaner-esque aroma, overall very refreshing.

On draft somewhere at the top of a mountain in the Alps. Hazy orange coloured, big head. Fruity and malty nose. Very little flavour, some fruit and malts, but not very outspoken and even a bit unbalanced. Thin mouthfeel. Great view up there on the mountain, but this brew was pretty bland.

from beerangel.de - cloudy orange colour with a little foam; nice lace, fair aroma of ripe bananas and grapefruit, slightly oily palate, sweet and medium-bodied, moderate tartness and a long banana aftertaste - quite thick and heavy but good

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Rich fruity aroma with banana, spices and yeas, very straightforward weizen aroma. Medium bodied, soft palate. Flavor is drier with yeast and spices in start, aftertaste dries with spices still. Excellent aroma, flavor is not as good.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, orange body with a golden tint and a finger-thick white head. Banana, wheat, some cloves and citrus in the aroma. A little touch of yeast too. The flavor has a little sourness initially, soon to be followed by banana, apricot, some citrus, yeast, hay and cloves. Medium to full body, quite effervescent. Nice bitterness in the finish. Definately not a bad one, quenching, refreshing and quite dry. Still, not among the top beers. (090101)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white, creamy and slowly collapsing head. Aroma is classic wheaty and of esters, somewhat dry impression. Fruity and yeasty flavour, seems sweet initially but soon goes towards a more dry and estery flavour. Dry wheaty and mild banana fruity finish. Surprisingly good.
