bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Clear pale yellow colour, large white head. Lovely hop aroma. Elegant malty background with lots of fresh and green hops, quite resiny and grassy. Superb hop profile, really lovely, like biting into a hop cone. A truly great example of the style!

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110318]

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, white head. The aroma has peppery, fruity hops with some grassy notes, and pale malts. The flavor has pale malts in the back, with fruityness and peppery, grassy hops. Could maybe use a bit more bitterness, but it’s an honest and delightful pilsner. Medium body, dry. Long, bitter finish. A really nice pilsner indeed. 110318

Bottle @ Norway/Denmark Tasting @ Ulfborg. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours clear yellow with a small egg white head. Grass and grain. A bit of perfume and sulphur - only harmless. Crisp and dry flavor.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, some hay, mild honeylike sweetness as well as some bready malts. Flavour is quite much the same and also has some slight herbal notes in it.

Pale yellow color, creamy and steady small white head. lace. Aroma is grassy hoppy, lemony, honeyish ... has a dishwater cleanser feeling in it. Grassy, a bit harsh flavor with hints of honey or bee wax. Reasonably hoppy, decent example of Bavarian pils style.

Tap @ BH, Pori. Very pale golden, tiny fizzy head. Mild, clean hayish aroma, little malts, grain and a hint of minerals. Well hopped flavor with fresh grass, spritzy pear, little honey, very refreshing and interesting enough. Slightly sweet finish with nice & long moderate bitterness. Mouthfilling soft carbonation. I even drank a second pint of this, and that says enough of a Pils for me.
