harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Aug 6, 2006 Not exactly what I would call a Kolsch, but whatever, that’s just me. Toasty with a bit of fruitiness in the malt profile. Light bodied, with a medium amount of bitterness and nice carbonation levels. Bready, almost doughy, light and sweet, with some noble hops as well.

Gold color. Sweet aroma. Moderately carbonated and refreshin beer. asheft (715), Marburg, Germany May 31, 2008 [bottle from Christoph]
Crisp and grainy sort of Helles-ish aroma. Very nice balance of crisp malt and fresh, German hops. Straw with a very slight green tint, oddly. White patch and ring. Helles flavour: sweet and grainy malt with low bitterness. Plenty of noble hops flavour--would be better with a little more bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation, sweet finish. LiebeBier (734), RIchmond, Virginia, USA Jun 23, 2007 Bottle - Yellow gold color with a white, quickly falling head. Very sweet, fruity aroma. Very malty flavor with a bitter middle and a dry finish. Some roasted character as well. An interesting beer. MiP (4744), Flensburg, Germany Jan 13, 2007 Bottle, 4.9%. Semi-fruity aroma. Clear golden colour. OK stable white head. The flavour is also semi-fruity with some naturtrübiness. Quite clean, though, with medium bitterness. joss (3076), Garching b. München, Germany Oct 21, 2006 Bottle, thanks pivnizub!
Golden, quite carbonated, foamy white head. Light grainy, citric and herbal nose.
Medium bodied, grainy malt base, fruityness on the tip of the tongue, herbal bitterness in the back. Dry and sparkly on the palate. Herbal, fruity aftertaste. Refreshing brew - in a blind tasting I would probably have guessed it was a pilsner though.
