Draught at Gallow’s Bird, Espoo. Poured clear copper in color with a thin whitish head. Nutty, faint hints of butter and hay also in aroma. Flavour mostly nutty and perhaps some sweet chocolate also. Slightly hoppy finish. Medium carbonated. Pleasant taste over all and enjoyable to drink.

Pours deep red with a white head. Light sweet malt nose. Taste is bready malt. Easy drinking.

500ml bottle. Clear reddish amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, off-white head. Nice dark malty aroma, slightly grainy, a touch of hay, also hints of chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet dark malty, minimally grainy, a dry husk note. Tasty.

Pours a dark copper colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of nuts, toasted malts and grass. Flavour of toasted malts, nuts, some licorice, grassy hops and bread. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a nutty, malty and bitter finish with some licorice. Good one.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very dark, nice head. Intense malty aroma. Starts very malty, with lots of caramel, modest sweet. Soft-malty finish, still wonderful caramel and chocolate notes. Great beer!

The head is robust, the body orange-brown. It smells grassy-hoppy, darkmalty, fresh and a bit smokey. The taste is malty, darkmalty, grassy-hoppy-smokey. Nice one! 11/12/13/13/11/12
