UPDATED: AUG 17, 2010 (draught, at the brewery) pours a clear, light golden colour with a firm white head. aroma is grassy, floral hops, pale malts and lots of fresh wort. flavour has pale malts and floral hops, with a surprising and agreeable smokiness, very smooth. light to medium-bodied with refreshing carbonation and a medium-bitter finish. so much better on tap than bottled.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Sweetish, malty and caramelly aroma with some butter and hint of floral hops. Sweetish, malty, caramelly and honeyish flavor with medium bitterness, some floral hops and some butter. Fairly good maltiness but I would like to have more hops and less butter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Warm golden with a nice, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and light citrus. The flavour has notes of malt, straw and dry citrus, and I find very light hints of smoke, but can that be true? The finish is dry with a nice bitterness. It’s a refreshing and nice pilsner.
