COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From bottle @ Brassigaume fest. Pours hazy yellow with thin, white filmy head. Yeasty, sweetish nose. Flavor has some light sweetness, faint bitterness, and a citrus/tangerine tang. Fizzy. Dryish finish. Alcohol shows through. Flavorful and maybe too strong to be a refreshing quaffer.

Bottle@Home. Lemon aroma with a hint of grass. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, fair lace. Sweet, light lemon, wheat, nice bitterness. Sparkling, alcoholic finish.

Plastic cork
A very simple label, artisanal look, bringing back to memory my first travel to Belgium in 1996. Cloudy blond color. The aroma is quite fresh, a Wit; but the body is too weak, the flavor too simple, the bitterness too low. Not much effort here, expectations turned down.

Pinkish blonde color, slightly hazy. Best before 30.03.06. 75 cl bottle. Toffee in the nutty and oily, corny aroma. Vinous flavor with sherry, walnut oil and some remaining flowery hops. The beers seems to be somewhat oxidated, probably because of the plastic stop on the bottle. Disappointing.

Bottled at Le Bier Circus, Brussels. An unclear orange beer with a thin though dense off-white head. The aroma is very fruity with peaches being strongest, but also light woody notes. The flavor is very sweet and very fruity - again peaches, but also mango, and oranges. The flavor also contains light notes of coriander and yeast.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Sweet wheat aroma and a little fruity asweel. Sweet malty caramel flavor. Long sweet caramel finish.

Bottle. Clouded gold. Small white head. Aroma is very sweet and fruity with notes of bubblegum. Taste is ripe fruits(pear and light banana), dusty yeast, dry malts, light spices and grains. Body is bubbly but smooth. Finishes with more fruits and sweet malts and dusty cobwebby yeast. Some graininess and spices round it out. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to take credit for supplying madsberg with this as I think it was BierKonig who bought this one.

Bottled @ Bier Circus: Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense white head. Sweet and fruity aroma. Has some yeast notes and some spices as well. Flavour is sweet and quite citric. Very smooth and easy to drink. Sweet end. NIce one. Thanks to The_Beer_Good for sharing.

nice light easy drinking Witte influenced beer. Allspice and heather on the nosewith a touch of lemon zestvery well done for such an upstart brewery. had this originally at the Brassigaume beer fest in Marbehan Belgium. Brought a few bottles home.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2004 Pale blond; very Champenoise bubbling. Very light-perfumey nose with spring blossoms, and a touch of smoked malt. Nice! Taste is even more smoked and even leathergrease. But good! And on top of this, the beer is really refreshing. This is great. A superb light (Belgian standards) beer. This might become a classic.
Retasted 30/10/04 Much less exhilarating experience. Gushing, nose of dumpling-batter, flour-like, oriental - repeating itself in the taste with sweet-sour taste; retronasal almondy flavour sitting very uneasily on the rest, fatty-creamy texture. I have not changed the marks, but this time, ’t would have been 6/3/6/3/12, which is considerably worse.
