Sample at beerfest. Pooured a darker orange color with a smaller head. Left some lacing on the side of the glass as it went. Aroma was grapefruit, citrus and floral. Hops in the flavor. Grass, pine and grapefruit. Hoppy aftertaste. Very sticky and oily. Good IPA.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a cloudy amber color with a small head. The aroma was of citrus, grapefruit and pine. The taste was similar, grapefruit , floral and citrus hops. Very enjoyable.

Tasted on tap at Augusta Brewing in Augusta, Missouri. Burnt orange appearance which is mostly clear. Sweet hop aroma with a sweet, creamy hopped IPA.

Sampled at the brewpub. Beautiful lacing over a copper colored beer. This IPA is, indeed, well hopped. Tart bitterness throughout. Citrus is grapefruit, a hint of pine, and some pleasant caramel that is almost over whelmed by the hops. Finish was slightly spicy. Nice beer.

Sample poured from a growler by the brewer. Poured a mostly clear copper color with a finger-thick off-white head. Notes of leafy hops, grapefruit citrus, caramel malts, pine resin, grass, and wood. Light-medium bodied, with mild carbonation and a leafy mouthfeel. Very easy drinking, a mild IPA if there ever was one.

On Tap- Served a hazy copper color with a two finger head that had good retention and good lacing. Clean, smell of grain and hint of citrus. Taste was refreshing & clean with hint of citrus and a nice touch of bitterness. Smooth, well balanced with a surprising crisp feel. Went down easy and ordered another with out hesitation. Good beer from a small brewery.

Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 24/09/2009 Fruity hop aroma. Golden coloured smooth on the palate floral and hoppy with a little dryness in a bitter lasting malt finish.

Draft at the brewery. Very fresh, tasty IPA. As far as IPA’s go, it is not great, but a pretty good brew if your expectations aren’t too high! Fruity, with light citrus hops. Average....but good when fresh.
