bottle, mit Dank an MoritzF! Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty, slightly fruity with some resiny hops, also hints of boiled vegetables and cardboard. Not bad, but a bit bland.

Danke an Auxburg1986 für diese schöne Flasche! Die Schaumkrone verschwindet leider rasch. Geschmacklich malzig, hopfig und leicht säuerlich, schön Süffig. Märzen typisch. Fazit: Schönes Märzen, gefällt mir! Test vom 13.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,12,11,12,11 - 10,85

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, visible carbonation, small white head; light grainy-toasty nose with an even lighter metallic tinge; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied for a brew of 5.6%; empty MF; slight metallic bitter-sweet finish. Drinkable, not great at all........

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted - caramel, light hoppy, light orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear golden with a white head. Sweet malty nose. Medium body, sweet malt and a little caramel. No real bitterness. 161010

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Bready (cara-)malty aroma with notes of marzipan and a tinge of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented taste with bready notes and a touch of cara-malt; moderately sweet and bready malty finish with shy hoppy notes. Drinkable but no highlight. 14.X.10
