Commercial Description:
Festival beer for the 2007 St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival. One of the most exciting parts of the festival is the Festival Brew. Each of the participating local brewers crafted their own version which attendees could judge for themselves. Dark lager was selected as a tribute to the early St. Louis brewers who typically used darker malts than today's lagers.

Sampled at the Heritage Festival. Second sample of the Festival beers and got the bronze, only because I only notes three. Filtered and amber hued. Moldy off-white head. Caramel and woody notes in the aroma. Light bready and dry. One dimensional. Mildly more bitter than AB’s

(tap at the brewfest) Medium brown. Mild malt aroma. Caramel malt flavor. Medium bodied. Middle of the pack at the brewfest.
