STL Microfest. Sampled from a 750 ml bottle. Pours blonde / orange with a small head. The aroma has pineapple, spice and sweetness. The aroma doesn’t strike me as being a tripel. Medium / full body that’s slick and sticky with prickly carbonation. The taste starts with lots of sweetness that is is like pineapple soaked in canned fruit syrup. The taste is cloying, medicinal and has traits of bubble gum. The finish is too sweet and lingers for quite a while.
