(bottle) pours a murky deep ruby-amber colour with a frothy beige head. strange aroma of tobacco and stick incense, caramel, wheat and milk chocolate. flavour is wheat, honey-smoked ham, vanilla, clove and white chocolate, slightly alcoholic with a light-bitter finish. heavy-bodied with lively carbonation. nice complexity.

Bottle. Smells more or less like an ordinary hefeweizen from the middle shelf. No significant bock aromas to be found. It’s sharpish, spice-oriented, though banana is also present, besides notes of clove and nutmeg, and even some cinnamon. The malty base is there though overall the beer lacks any serius flavour, it’s slightly vapid, tame and boring. Also, overcarbonated. Some spiciness in the slightly too bitter finish is all that I felt while drinking it. For a hefeweizen on steroids it’s a bit disappointing, though still not bad.

Bottle 0.5l. Dark amber color, hazy. Big, yellowish, medium fast falling, lacing head. Soft carbonation, medium body, creamy. Aroma: Pleasant, sweetish but crisp, strong estery (banana), light malty (caramel malts), a bit yeasty. Mayby a hinch of bubblegum. Taste: Light sweet, minimal bitterness, light sourness, banana and caramel. Short, a bit sour finish.
