Bottle at home from notes. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a large frothy white head with good retention. The aroma and flavor have cereal and biscuity malt, light spicy hops, fruity esters showing some apple and pear with notes of alcohol and pepper into a dry finish. Medium body with warming alcohol. Decent, but not something I would seek out again.

Overcarbonated. Pours like champagne with a white head and a golden hazy color. The smell is sweet of wheat with a strong citrus aroma. Tastes of citrus and pine with a little caramel.

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours clear golden with abundant, airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and flowers, with touches of hops and yeast. Sweetish taste of malt and fruit, quickly replaced by bitter notes of hops, ending rather sweet again. Bitter aftertaste. Good mouthfeel. An OK BSA.

Bottle at home in Augustijn goblet. Aroma of fresh hay gives way to a yeasty, fresh, well carbonated, light malty flavour. Quite dry and morelish.

2014/04/18 - Pours a hazy orange-honey colour with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is Belgian yeast, toffee, fruit and spices. Taste is much of the same; strong Belgian yeast, sweet toffee malt, fruity notes and spices. Alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is thin with lively, biting carbonation and a mildly bitter/tart finish. An ok blonde. Probably won't repeat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle served in a Delirium Tremens glass. Pours a blond colour with a whitish head. Reasonably carbonated but terribly disappointing. I was expecting great things from the brewery that produce Gulden Draak and Piraat but this is the worst Belgian blond I have tried. Bland taste, thin mouthfeel and a dryish aftertaste without the body or sweetness to complement it. Disappointing.
