Golden, almost clear, with good white creamy head retention and lot of carbonation at the beginning, then medium. Almost none hop aroma, but yeast. Malt, bread, fruit and Belgian yeast flavor, with a almost dry, apple aftertaste. Nice style of beer, now I like it more than trippel, will try it again, definitively

Good beer for this style, again just can’t get into this type of beer. Very drinkable and I can tell people that like this style would love this

Currently drinking while I am typing. One of my favourite Blond beers by far, I’ve had these in 33cl and 75cl previously. The aroma is a good blend of hops, apple and a boozey note in there too. The look of this beer is absolutely beautiful, it sustains a perfect creamy head with stunning retention and a bright white colour. All that sat on top of a hazy golden brew that shines lovely through the sunshine on a summer afternoon. Taste wise this beer is what I would consider one of my favourite tastes from a Blond, it holds a nice but subtle floral hop note with some cereal, sweet breads and an aftertaste that slows into an embracing appley hop flavour that lasts. Maybe a tad too carbonated initially but that settles down, not enough to ruin the beer. Feels full within the mouth and great upon the lips with the soft creamy head. Definitely one of my favourites, I reckon I have purchased this the most out of any beer. I seriously recommend this beer!

Pours clear gold with a huge head. Aroma is apple and belgian yeast. Light in body with lots of carbonation. Flavor is apple, candy and a bit of alcohol. I really enjoyed this one.

On tap at the Trollenkelder (under the name of Trollenbier). Nice yellow beer with a nice white head. Sweet aroma. Flavour is pleasant, easy drinking, slightly noticable alcohol.

draft at Blue Monk, golden orangish pour. Fruity notes, bubblegum in both aroma & flavor. not the most exciting beer but just a solid Belgian blonde which apparently I’m a sucker for

Reviewed from notes (2007). A: Opaque orange-yellow, large white head that fades fasts and leaves traces behind S: Mostly fruit aroma (apple and pear) with a very subtle earthy spice T: The fruits continue with a large display of yeastiness.. M: Medium body with medium carbonation .. the beer tingles on the tongue fairly nicely O: Enjoyable and easy to drink at 8% .. others in this style are prefered but this is a nice treat nonetheless
