Draught @ De Trollenkelder, Gent, Belgium.
Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, fruity, light hoppy, moderate yeasty, spicy, coriander. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090308]

Bottle. Amber with white lasting head. Aroma and taste of spices & malts. Body is medium. Some fruits in here. little sweetness. Finish has slight spicyness and bitterness.

[ As Cuvée de Briqville ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, fruity - excotic, moderate hoppy, moderate to light heavy yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. [Drunk just before the best before date] An orange beer with lumps of yeast floating around and a huge beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of coriander, peach, prunes, oranges, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet, very carbonated and alcoholic, with notes of oranges, coriander, apples, and wood.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden with a nice full head, lots of sediment. Very full-bodied and with a very evident alcohol. OK indeed, but a bit rough and characterless as with some Bios beers. 270394

33 cL bottle. Pours deep orange and golden with a huge off-white head. Classic Belgian yeast aroma, quite strong malt accent and a solid alcohol note. Flavour is much the same, quite strongly flavoured from spiced yeast and barley/alcohol leads into a sweet almond/marzipan like finish. Reminds me alot about a dobbel bock. Certainly not a triple at all.

Draught. hazy orange colour, small white head. Caramel, malts, fruits, toffee and nuts in the aroma. Flavour is toffee, caramel, nuts and malts. Some hops and also sourness also. Lovely palate.

Golden coloured. Aromatic fruity aroma - smells like ripe peaches. Sweet, vanillaish and medium bodied, but dangerously drinkable. Not much bitterness, so the finish is more like a fruit salad.

Bottle. Clear yellow coloured with a huge white head. Aroma of fruits and spices. Flavour of fruits, yeast and spices.

Bottle. Light colour, very slightly cloudy. Nice, white head. Aroma is metallic and/or yeasty. Acidic flavour and aftertaste.

Hazy burnt orange, big creamy fine head, lots of tiny bubbles, slight slightly sweet spicy malt aroma, rich malt flavor, lots of orange, touch of spicyness, hint of bitterness in the finish, touch of tartness

nice spices in the aroma, a bit of nice horsey funk in the flavor,

Golden color, generous head. Very nice malt aroma, dry spices, Tripel, leaning on a pleasant fruitness. Good flavor, spicy, but quite ordinary, in its category, nothing peculiar.
