Another favorite import of mine. With a full-bodied flavor and a smooth aroma, this one's hard to resist. Very nice color as well.

UNBELIEVABLE. beside the small size, which made me drink it slower, but was just too much for $5...this is the best beer ive ever had.

This is my favorite beer, hands down. Lots of spice and body to this abbey tripel. Enough alcohol to keep things interesting, but not overpowering. Nice thick creamy bitter head on this beer that stays with you until the beer is gone. If you like Piraat or Duvel, this beer is comparative. Surprised that this beer isn’t rated a bit higher.
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 Papillon (283) - Sudbury, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2010
330 mL Bottle. Gold body with a generous foamy white head that settles to a tenacious layer with lots of clingy lace. Delicate aroma of sweet light malts, some yeast, floral notes, a little hint of toffee, the aroma has a softness about it with innuendos of banana and bubblegum. Sweet malts with a piquant, almost peppery note dominate the flavor followed by an intense bubblegum aftertaste as if metamorphosing on the tongue. Maraschino cherries linger in the finish and then finish clean. This is some pretty interesting stuff.

Poured with massive stack-of-bubbles head over active peach-colored liquid. Very lemony aroma. Flavor is citric and spicy, tart on the tongue. Active and bubbly to the feel. Good light Belgian.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 rampmaster (642) - Alden, New York, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Presentation: Poured from a 330ml/11.2oz bottle in to a tulip glass. It has a soft and hazy orange amber color with an outstanding, huge white head. It is thick and foamy with stiff rocky peaks that last forever. The aroma is fruity with spice and yeast. There are some light hints of alcohol and hops in the background as well. the flavor is well balanced with earthy yeast, smooth spices and fruity notes of apple and pear, maybe even a hint of pineapple and sour orange peal. The malts are grainy and doughy and there is a mild hops presence that adds some light bitterness. All of this is wrapped up in a medium body with a lively carbonation. The 8% abv. is well hidden and the finish is fairly dry. This is a very well done tripel.

Amber with aroma of yeast, oranges and some cidery notes. The palate is delicate and malty with flavors of toffee, orange peel and tangy hops. The beer finishes with a restrained bitterness and flashes of deeper hop flavors. Well-balanced beer that doesn’t taste its strength.
