Pours a vivid amber - gold with an enormous fluffy white head. The aroma is yeast, fresh dough, orange zest, cider, cinnamon. The body is light for 7.5%, with a slightly prickly but fitting carbonation. Very fruity and yeasty. Apples, pears, linzer dough, light grassy hops, finishes fruity but dry. Refreshing and drinkable. Underrated.
4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Rodriguez (85) - Quito, ECUADOR - JAN 29, 2012
Golden, almost clear, with good white creamy head retention and lot of carbonation at the beginning, then medium. Almost none hop aroma, but yeast. Malt, bread, fruit and Belgian yeast flavor, with a almost dry, apple aftertaste. Nice style of beer, now I like it more than trippel, will try it again, definitively

Currently drinking while I am typing. One of my favourite Blond beers by far, I’ve had these in 33cl and 75cl previously. The aroma is a good blend of hops, apple and a boozey note in there too. The look of this beer is absolutely beautiful, it sustains a perfect creamy head with stunning retention and a bright white colour. All that sat on top of a hazy golden brew that shines lovely through the sunshine on a summer afternoon. Taste wise this beer is what I would consider one of my favourite tastes from a Blond, it holds a nice but subtle floral hop note with some cereal, sweet breads and an aftertaste that slows into an embracing appley hop flavour that lasts. Maybe a tad too carbonated initially but that settles down, not enough to ruin the beer. Feels full within the mouth and great upon the lips with the soft creamy head. Definitely one of my favourites, I reckon I have purchased this the most out of any beer. I seriously recommend this beer!
