3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brune un rien rougeâtre, effervescence moyenne, mousse aérienne qui tombe un peu vite. Douce et maltée avec un petit fruité de figues et une légère chaleur alcoolisée malgré son ABV peu élevé.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: murky, almost swamp brown & plum colored with a layer of dark beige foam that grows pretty high with a modest pour. Aroma contains mostly Belgian esters with plum, grape, edging on vinous with a light hint of Candi sugar, clove, & rotten banana. Phenolic, apparent alcohol. Taste contains a notable bit of alcohol as well, with a mild chalky & phenolic undercurrent. Plum, date, light cocoa powder, dirty esters with some notes of raisin & banana in the finish. Clove grows with warmth... Overall, not one of the highlights of the style. Okay at best.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
75cl bottle. Moderately hazy dark red/brown with huge head.
NOSE : dough, yeast, apple, grapes, tart, dried raisins and figs. It smells a bit like tiramisu.
SIP : medium body with oily texture. The carbonation is moderate. Sweet with moderate flavors of cookies and cooked fruits. The flavors reveal more yeast notes further on. The taste isn’t that long and it finishes with delicate clove and cooked fruits. It leaves a delicate spicy fruit cake feeling in the aftertaste.
OVERALL : the beer has some interesting aromas but the taste brings out few of them. Delicate and easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The color is an opaque orangeish brown color with a very small white head that fades quickly to a ring, and the aroma is quite nutty on the nose; hints of roasted malts and a dough yeast follow the strong first wave of scent. The taste is very pleasing the the mild umami hitting your tongue first, and a slight sourness and a touch of sweetness follow. The palate is a bit of a disappointment, for the medium body and thin texture don’t completely match the flavor, but the average carbonation and long malty finish are nice complements.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown brew that has the smells of caramel, wet saw dust, slight alcohol. Taste is a little like root beer with an alcohol twang to it. Decent brew but for the cost could be better.

Malts, caramel, dried fruits, raisins, bit bread, yeasty. Sweetish with some sourness. Quite drinkable but not the best choice from dubbels.. expected more
