Says 8% on the bottle. Fig colored. Airy, fluffy head cocoa dusted head. Rather clean, almost antiseptic, yeast nose. Rather thinnish bodied. Caramel water and weak, artificial fruits. Underwhelming. Not terrible, just really disappointing--had higher hopes for this one.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - SEP 4, 2012
An okay, mostly clear copper red body and tan fine bubble head. Bready, cherries, cookies and nutty. Heavy carbonation, but it fits the beer well. Medium sweetness, typical Belgian yeast. Okay mouth feel. Bit sticky in the end. Well made, classic Belgian brew. (33cl bottle)

Bottle from a mix pack of Belgian ales. Pours a dark dark brown in the glass with a thick fizzy cola colored head. Very aromatic nose of fruit; berries, banana and some spice. Tasty dark toasted malt mixed with some more banana followed by a peppery aftertaste. Overall, very good. I’d let someone buy me some more...

Aroma of currants, cloves, and peppery spice with yeast and alcohol. Murky medium brow. Tangy flavor of banana, brown sugar and odd bitterness. Moderately sized, pretty flush actually. Good ale though not at all what I expected.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 vikingguy (620) - Chaska, Minnesota, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Cloudy red-brown with never ending tan head. Sweet caramelly malt aroma. Taste - not as sweet as the aroma hints at. Caramel malt, hard water, a little breadiness and some bitter grassy hops. Fairly creamy texture. Not as good as I was expecting - pretty average as far as dubbels good, but still a decent beer overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DJoer (291) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 31, 2012
Filtered dark colour with a firm white head which disappears quick. The aroma is sweet with hints of blackberry’s and metal. Soft sweet taste and a coffee like bitterness and a medium carbonation. I have had better.

11.2 oz bottle from a Brouwerij Van Steenberge variety pack. Pours hazy brown with red highlights; has a medium beige head with good retention. Aroma consists of banana and clove with a hint of dark fruit. Taste is sweet and spicy with a lightly bitter grainy finish. Tasty yet nothing spectacular.
