Bottle, bought @Saveur Bière. Pours clear pale golden with a small, creamy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, sugar, doughy, light citrus. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good malts, light doughy, mild sugar, mild astringent with some apple and citric acid notes. Lingering, quite bitter finish.

Bottle @ Yespr tasting.
[thank you, Yespr]
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a frothy/bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet with light yeast and some alcohol. Fine mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, rather tripel-ish, light tartness with exotic fruits.

330cc bottle. Pours golden blonde with white head. A bit lemony, herbs, spice/pepper and caramel. Taste : lemon, white pepper, green olives, sugar, malt, a bit biscuit and light caramel almost honey like. Nice bitternes. A very pleasant brew.

WYGLĄD: Barwa złota, klarowne. Piana drobna, średniej wysokości, trwała.
AROMAT: Mało intensywny. Owocowy. Dojrzałe jabłko. Dzikość belgijskich drożdży.
SMAK: Słodowy. Owocowy posmak.

Hmmm, this is a complex beer. Its thick, hoppy and spicy, but also fruity and yeasty. Def a grand cru!

1700th rating on this website won’t be a big want... This one I had for personal reasons. Very decent brew, but I do like most of Van Steenberge brews. Nothing exceptionnal, but mostly decent to good.

Bottle at home. Yellow-orange, very big white head, to big. Smell, sharp aroma with lots of lemon and some spice. Spices, apple in the taste, pretty good aftertaste with a bitter-sweet touch. To sad the aftertaste seems better then the first nip. Also to easy drinkable for 9%. Not a bad beer, but it misses something extra.
