3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 OleR (3510) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
From tap at the brewery. A thin creamy blond head, atop of a clear gold colored body. Low aroma level. Soft wheaty, with faint bread tones and a citrus-zesty fruitiness. Lightly spiced, crisp wheaty malt flavor. Citrussy fruitness, firm bitterness. Medium body strenght. Warming mouthfeel. Clean and simple, with ok drinking abilities.

Huge white head on a clear yellow liquid. Apple and citrus but with a green banana aftertaste. Fizzy, not like a 9%. gift
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rune (4671) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2011
Draught at the brewery pub. Chalk white head that stays well. Near-clear golden. Aroma of wheat and sweet fruits. Flavour is a blend of citrus shells, yeast, and honey sweetness. Finish off with a taste of slightly bitter dried fruits. Mostly hidden alcohol. Pleasing drink (visiting the brewery in Ertvelde, 30.04.2011).

Cloudy yellow with a good head, sweet fruit aroma, taste reminds me of Christmas, like drinking a rich Dundee fruit cake with royal icing but with a bitter aftertaste, another great Belgian beer.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mR_fr0g (73) - Surrey, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2011

330 ml bottle. BBE 23.12.2012.
Pours a light yellow colour with a small foamy head. Somewhat lacy. Aroma of hay and caramel malts. Flavour of caramel malts, sweet tropical fruits, mild spices and hay. Medium bodied with a slick, slightly foamy mouthfeel with a dry, warming and sweet fruity finish. Pretty much the same as Blond but with more alcohol.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 RD400F (54) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 4, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 Bottle into Chimay Trappist glass. It’s a cloudy golden orange color with a HUGE 4 finger white head that’s very dense and takes quite some time to diminish. 20 minutes later, it’s still here. I can see a lot of carbonation. Aroma is grassy, spicy and sour with a booze tinge. Taste is quite sweet with some spicyness and a bitter citrus finish. Palate is too cloying, lots of CO2, moderate aftertaste. Nothing negative struck me and it’s pretty good, but not memorable. A little too sweet for my tastes to be honest.
