On tap @ the brewery. Clear golden body with a fine, creamy white head. Aroma has apple fruitiness, spices, yeast, wheat alcohol and feels sweet. Flavor is sweet, fruity, warming alcoholic, mild malty and moderate bitterness. A bit on the sweeter side, relatively strong alcohol feeling but still quite quaffable. A beer that gets better after the first glass.

For whichever reason, there just isn’t much to smell here. The color is like that of an American malt liquor existing for no other reason than for rapid intoxication at neglidgable cost. I guess it smells like a lightweight househould oil if you strain your nostrils hard enough (think 10wt.) I was expecting something dark, but instead got this oily, filtered biscuity yeast beast, bright as the sun. At least I like the smell of a good working garage shop or I would have to fail this beer entirely.

Clear. Little, airy head. Aroma of grains and hops. Medium body, average carbonation. Bitter taste, a bit metallic.

Overall yeasty and malty , some melted butter , smooth and slick . Some hop dryness and bitterness at the finish. Not much of a head a pale gold body, but lots of lacing .

Botella de 33 cl, en Cerveceria Internacional. Color dorado. Sabor a malta, levadura, ligeramente especiado, dulce.

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur or pale, mousse correcte de tenue moyenne. Un houblon assez présent, des épices, une note de frangipane. Rien de stupéfiant mais l’ ensemble est bien équilibré, l’ alcool supporte bien le tout.

The smell is sweet of caramel with notes of the bitterness from a good quality champagne. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Tastes sweet of caramel, dates, nuts and raisin. The bitter finish got tones of lemon. The mouth feel is rather thick but also very carbonated and crisp.

Gold with a strong white head. Spices, alcohol and yeast on the nose. Sweet and strong on the tongue, some bitterness and lingering alcohol tingling in the finish. Bretty gud.

Van alle augustijn-bieren de enige tegenvaller. Een fletse smaak, ik vond het een teleurstelling

Bottle@rypevej12. Dark golden haze. Huge foam. Yeasty bready notes. Peppery alcoholic. Sharp even though my reflux is getting better and better.

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours an almost clear golden colour with a nice white head. Biscuit, yeast and spices in the Aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, probably more sweet. Overall, a nice beer but a bit boring.
