Draught at TND: Aroma of fruit, light pale malts, and light yeast. Poured amber/gold/bronze in color with a medium-sized, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Not sparkling. Fair lacing. Flavor is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of yeast, light fruit, Belgian malts, and a hint of spices. Medium body. Dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Yeast and slight spice finish is lightly bitter and dry. 7.5%ABV is totally hidden.

I tried this beer on November 5, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark translucent goal with a huge generous off-white head that lasted throughout the experience. The aroma was very yeasty with malt, and spices also in the mix. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and medium-high carbonation. The flavour was very Duvel-like with a crisp malty flavour with yeast and a citrusy bitter finish. A good beer.

Nice hazy copper appearance, smooth white head. Fruity aroma. Bittersweet taste, a little dry and above average carbonation. Pretty decent overall but not very special.

Pretty OK Blonde Belgian. Aroma is fruity, candi sugar and musty. Pours golden near-clear with off white head. Flavor is refreshing, with notes of banana. One beef - there is a lingering aftertaste on this one.

As Augustijn Ale, 8%. Pours a clear, light copper color with a small white head. Aroma is of pale malt, with just a little hop. Metallic aroma also. Flavor is slightly fruity, again with pale malts, and lightly hoppy. Decent flavor, just light, almost like a stronger pilsener. Light, crisp mouthfeel. Overall, good minus.

Pours a translucent amber gold with a two finger rocky white head. The nose is spicy, mildly earthy, some herbal hop character, very mild sweetness. Flavor is earthy, mild notes of isoamyl acetate, medium hop bitterness, peppery. Palate is explosively carbonated with a medium level of bitterness.

Aged bottle... Aroma of honey, yeast, slightly acidic, aged, but definitely not past its prime... a touch warming, slightly boozy, yeasty, slightly acidic/cidery, touch of raisin, some toffee/ caramel... Age definitely mellowed this...
