330ml bottle - pours a light golden/orange with a rather small white head on top, not nearly as foamy or big and rocky as other Tripels. The aroma is very sweet and sugary with banana, yeast, and some other citrus in the nose. Perhaps a little bit cloying, but not bad. Mouthfeel is a little on the thin side, and the carbonation maybe just slightly too heavy in the mouth, but again, not bad and still nice. Flavour is sharp and fruity, sweet and yeasty with a lot of citrus including banana, apple, and tropical fruit. Some mild hoppy bitterness in there as well, especially in the finish. Nice stuff. A good Abbey Tripel, and satisfying.

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. Thick massive head. Took quite awhile to set in. Aroma has fruits, yeast and some spices. Refreshing easy to drink, nice yeasty finish with some spices and bite from the alcohol. Overall really good.

Aug 17, 2008 12oz bottle as part of gift pack from LCBO for Christmas 2007. Best before of May 2009. Pours a perfect cloudy gold with a big fluffy head. Lots of little bubbles going up the side of the glass. Nice yeasty aroma. Flavour is a bit light bodied. Yeasty, a little spicy. Decent, but not the best of its ilk.

Aug 15, 2008 pours hazy gold/yellow with a huge white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, light fruit and a bit of spice. Taste is pretty much the same with a bit of alchohol at the end. Not bad.

Aug 13, 2008 bot. 33cl. srong fruity aroma. refreshing. citrus, like cake. great aroma. clear yellow, giant fine head. flavor a little disappointment, although great, it shows alc., and the cake is gone. spices, fruits. still very nice.

Aug 13, 2008 Beer pours a clear golden with a big white foamy head that last’s forever. Nice lacing on this one. Very spicy aroma, a little citrus, some good malt smell in there too.
Tastes really nice. That spiciness continues with a good bit of malt flavor. Alcohol is not really apparent and the finish is nice and clean. This is a really nice beer.
