Light chocolate nose, darky clear brown color, tall foamy beige head. Light caramel and toasted malt taste. Dainty dry end with some hops to balance the sweet dark malt tastes. Reserved but very nice and classy. Medium body and a clean palette.

JorisPPattyn (7771) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 22, 2005
Yellow-brown head, disappearing fast to rim; deep red-brown beer. Nose: all kinds of sweet & dark things: molasses, dark sweet bread, chocolate, dark malts, moccha. Taste is cigarette ashes envelopping some faint-sweet bread, touch of chocolate and lots of dark, far from all-sweet malts. Hints of hops, even. Very evenly balanced. Medium bodied. Aftertaste seems sweeter again, hints of caramel. Nice Dunkel, and a Godsend compared to their Oktoberfest disaster. Thanks for the supply, joss.

Nice mahagony color, medium frothy off white head on top. Decent clay and also toasted malt nose. Toasted malt taste with a long lasting hoppy aftertaste.
