Spicy aroma with some prunes, tobacco, banana notes and detectible hops. Clear brown-orange-black with tan foam that recedes to a ring. Sweet brown sugar, molasses and walnut flavour accented by some floral hops. Low bitterness, leaving the balance towards sweet. Just a touch too sugary. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, sweet finish. SHIG (1466), Oberoffligen, Germany Jul 26, 2008 Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a reddish tint to it, head was thin and tan. Aroma is caramel, hops, and some light harvest. Taste is a bitter caramel with hoppiness and grass.
