Bottle: Small white foamy head, disappears quick. Color is clear golden yellow. Smell lot of malts, hops, spices and some sweets (hint of sugar and/or honey) Taste is pretty refreshing: hops and malts with a hint of spices and bit sweet. Nicely balanced with hops, sweets and carbonation.

from old notes Sparkling clear gold, frothy head. Soft nose --creamy, lightly peppery, honey. Mild sweetness, pils malt, soft lemony acidity; fades into pepper, very clean. Creamy and lively on the tongue, medium bodied. Wonderfully clean and delicious. 50 cl bottle.

12oz in Trumer glass, 5.7%. Clear yellow with fizzy diminishing head. Snappy, sharp aroma with hints of hay, grass, and metal. Bright acid gives way to softer waffle-cone flavor. Crisp, refreshing, dry finish.

Bierkrug (463) - Idar-Oberstein (in Afghanistan), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - AUG 20, 2010
500 ml bottle in Germany. A clear yellow color with a short lived white head and nice lacing. Nice Helles aroma with alcohol notes. Taste is typical for an Export Helles. Grassy and not as smooth as a normal Helles. Palate is sweet and mild. A nice Export Helles.
