Not different from the lagerbier.
A light golden beer with a white vanishing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and some notes of hops. The flavor is light, quite waterish. Not my beer.

Nicew bready smell this is very clear and beautiful to the eye. Sparkling very pale yellow. Small head. Mouthfeel takes time. When it copmes it is fullish with malt followed by some fat before the bitterness which isn’t intense but lingering which is long and sappy. Nice floral quality too. hugely enjoyable.

Getreideartige Noten gepaart mit weichem Brauwasser...wenn ich es nicht besser wüßte, wäre das für mich ein erstklassiges Lagerbier. Die Malztöne mit dem wuchtigem Körper und der nur leichten Hopfennote machen aus dem Augustiner ein Export der Extra-Klasse! Zusammen mit Dortmunder Kronen Export und Schlappeseppel Export das wohl beste Export wo gibt!

From bottle. Clear Munich helles with minimal head. Mild hops with a good taste of malt.

Beautiful stuff. Really clean tasting, lovely body and golden colour. It feels really substantial, but isn’t one of those where you feel bloated or bogged down after drinking it. I’ve only had it in bottles. I’m looking forward to having some on draft when I visit Munich this spring.

Got this when I first bought the Rothaus Pils at Fanling’s ParkNShop during the Oktoberfest promotion. Pale gold colour; Slight head, not a lot of foam; taste is clean and quite refreshing; Hop bitterness minimal; Easy to mouth and for everyone. Standard Bavarian fare if not spectacular.

Good white Head, golden colour, aroma is malty with notes of bread, taste is light sweet ending with light bitter notes. good beer.
