Pale yellow, with no head or carbonation like homemade lemonade, with a sweet industrial beer aroma. There’s a little more to the taste with some grape nuts and perceptible bitterness.

On bottle from Streb Getränktmarkt in Karlsruhe . Clear golden color, ok foam. Light/ medium aroma intensity; subtle malt, light honey, some fruitiness and notes of hops as well as some cardboard .Light/ medium body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Crisp and Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Color is really beatifull - cristally yellow and very deep and with a reach foam. But it is only the advantage. Strong heady flavour. Taste is rough and frankly speaking so-so. Firstly neutral than taisting very bitter palate. Not for all.

Bottle. A bit too neutral for my taste. Think it would be a great beer on a hot summer day, but on a cold fall/winter evening it is not the best company. I would appreciate a longer lasting head. Are you into a quite easy drinkable beer that can be drinken by anyone, this could be it.

Bonne.

Bottle. Clear golden color with a white head. Sweet grain grape skin aroma. Medium body. Grain Apple grape flavor. Mild overall with the fruit aspects covering up most of the grain. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The everlasting question: which augustiner is better? Hell or Edelstoff? A question that divides families in Munich. Even though I love the name "Edelstoff", this is one is the equivalent of headache to me. Maybe because its so easy to drink?
