Stronger version of helles. Bottle version is not that good but edelstoff from wooden barrels at Augustiner Keller is excellent!

500ml bottle from Beer Hawk - Pours a crystal clear golden colour with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma has some bready malts, and grain. Taste is grainy, biscuity, a mild sweetness, finishing with a bready light bitter hop. Clean and very smooth. Not that complex, but I find it pleasantly refreshing, if a little too fizzy.

500ml bottle. Pale yellow colour, foamy white head that diminishes and aroma of malt & grain, abit metallic light hop. Taste is sweetish bready malt, grain, fruity & grassy with some spicy hop. Light bodied, well carbonated, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

In my opinion, the best original Müncher lager.
Clean yellow color with a creamy white head. Perfect retention.
Aroma is hoppy(for a german export) with a perfect combination of cereal.
In mouth is little bit herbal and with a really good cereal end. The retrotaste is hoppy.

Clear golden, one finger head, creamy white and long. Aroma is light and fruity, corn, hay, grain. Sweet, medium body, soft feel and carbonation, medium long finish. Basic lager but good flavors and easy to drink.

This beer has got something... well rounded, mellow and sugary beer. Hints of honey and hops aroma but little bitterness. Very drinkable, I enjoyed it !

Colden, clear with a large white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Bitter taste with a light hoppy end.

Clear light yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is malty, taste is not too outstanding. Aftertaste is shirt lasting. (Velp 201304)

(Bottle): Pours a clear, pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy with hints of citrus and bread. A sweet, malty, minimally bitter taste with some floral and hop characteristics on the finish. Quite thin and watery mouthfeel but overall a great refreshing beer.
